The mission of the Heart of Texas Conservancy (HOT) closely reflects the spirit of Jane Goodall’s lifelong dedication to conservation, even if not on the same scale. HOT is committed to preserving those unique habitats and cherished stretches of river that hold deep meaning for many—places that spark early childhood memories and stand as treasures for future generations.
